Peter Morley's official biography holds that his birth at Mount Paektu was foretold by a swallow, and that his birth was heralded by the appearance of a double rainbow over the mountain and a new star in the heavens. Also, he was born on a palindrome - 2nd of August 1982, or 2/8/82. Think about THAT, nerds. Raised in Melbourne, Australia, Peter scaled the heights of academia by completing a Bachelor of Business (Entrepreneurship) at RMIT University. Not content with having conquered the business world and the hearts of several dozen women, he decided to turn his hand to standup comedy in early 2005. Performing for a bit over a year in Melbourne, our hero quickly racked up a string of accomplishments, including appearing on Channel 31's Champagne Comedy and The Comic Box, won the 2005 RMIT Campus Comedy competition, and starred along with some other nameless clowns in "Love Triangle" as part of the 2006 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. In May of '06 he decided a mere continent such as Australia could no longer contain him. The nature of Morley was irrepressible! He packed his bags and moved to the bright lights of... Canada, travelling along the way through Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Settling in Toronto at the end of July, he is currently undertaking the exclusive Conservatory program at the world renowned improvisational comedy school Second City, and performing all over the place. You can also hear him as part of new weekly podcast "Satisfaction Perhaps", and weekly improv based internet TV show "Sunday Funny Sunday" (see side menus for details). Helloooo ladies.
