GREATER TORONTO AUDIO - Episode 3.

For the first time recorded in front of a LIVE studio audience, GTA returns, and with it comes... hilarity. Obviously.

Isaac couldn't make the show this week so we got the next best thing, arguably the even better thing, his older brother Jake. Also guesting this week are local Toronto performers Lindsay Grant and Payson Rock.

This is one hell of a show, so what are you waiting for? Listen now, idiot.

Satisfaction Perhaps: 23/1/2008

In this week's Satisfaction Perhaps, Isaac and Peter discuss the Toronto Sketch Festival, whether Peter should get out of bed, Isaac's epic-ly chafing bike ride, Peter's thieving housemates, Isaac discovers Chocolate Rain 6 months after everyone else and what the fuck is that beeping?!? Sounds pretty awesome, but that's not all. In Jason and the Riddle of Malice, the adventurers travel to Pakistan in search of a laser printer and meet a few of the locals. It's guaranteed to be offensive, but as for satisfaction... that's only a maybe.

They said we were dead. They said the show was over. They said there have been no new episodes for three months. Fuck them, they were wrong. Well, they were right about the three months, but otherwise they were WRONG. Whatevs. Today marks the relaunch of Satisfaction Perhaps with not one but TWO full new episodes!

Satisfaction Perhaps: 6/1/2008-A

On this episode we have special guest star Devon Hyland, who in a vain attempt to plug his own website has scanned the show notes and posted them online here: http://devonhyland.com/funny (http://devonhyland.com/funny)
This is the last episode (at least for a while) of the old format of the show. So get your last sweet taste of How Ya Doin, Jew Review and Time Travel Interview while you can. We've also got a couple of improvised songs with the D-Train playing guitar, and an epic episode of Jason and the Riddle of Malice.

Satisfaction Perhaps: 6/1/2008-B

And this episode is the first of our brand new format. Partly because it would be impossible to record new episodes whilst Peter was back in Australia, and partly because Isaac is a useless lazy cunt who was never able to turn up for recording sessions, for about two months Peter secretly recorded every conversation he had with Isaac on his phone, without Isaac knowing. After some heavy heavy editing to remove the duller conversations and long bitter tirades against supposed friends, we present the result. Having listened back to it a few times it's still hard to tell whether it will make sense let alone be funny to anyone but us, but hopefully you'll at least get off on the eavesdropping factor. And hey, if you're one of our friends, why not listen to see if we mention you... you could be famous!

And of course we couldn't leave you dangling with what was happening to Jason, Charlie Tease and Mercury the Falcon, so we did get into the studio and hammered out the complete story of Jason and the Riddle of Malice, the next episode of which you will find in this podcast. Ok, enough writing, more listening. Enjoy!

This week Jenny the damn dirty whore joins the Satisfaction Perhaps team to partake in our usual highbrow fare of racist and sexist world observations. In How Ya Doin Jenny takes us through her new job, catering to a particular audience. In Jew Review Isaac reviews the great natural disasters of our times. In Time Travel Interview Isaac and Jenny talk to a caveman from like, a billion years ago or something. And we have the FIRST EPISODE of our new radio serial, JASON and the RIDDLE OF MALICE. It's a year after the events of Vase of Freedom; Jason, Charlie Tease and Mercury are living together along with Jason's new girlfriend Tiffany... when they discover a treasure map. Will the old gang be able to get back together? All this and more, in Satisfaction Perhaps!

Satisfaction Perhaps returns with another episode full of mayhem. In How Ya Doin Isaac hassles Peter about sleeping in, in Jew Review Isaac reviews a whole bunch of movies he's seen recently, and gallantly stops any Harry Potter 7 spoilers being broadcast. We also have a Time Travel Interview with English folk hero Robin Hood, who as usual doesn't quite live up to the legend. And of course we have the very last episode of Jason and the Vase of Freedom -- Jason, Charlie Tease and Mercury finally confront the Man on the Phone face to face! All this and more (some dirty poetry) in Satisfaction Perhaps!

Yes we are back, with another huge episode of Satisfaction Perhaps. This week in What You Been Doin' we discuss the rampant bike theft in Toronto, and in What You Been Ridin' we discuss Helmut the loveable German. In Jew Review Isaac reviews some Indian movie, and we make plans for the Mischa Barton pie eating sequel. We have the penultimate (that's second last, not super ultimate... although it is super ultimate) episode of Jason and the Vase of Freedom - now that Jason and Charlie Tease have the vase, are they brave enough to survive the traps in the Man on the Phone's jungle temple? And finally we have a Time Travel Interview with Albert Einstein aka Dizzle A, where we discuss his wife Vag Einstein, his dad's friend Wartime Darryl, and he reveals the true meaning behind e=mc^2. All that and more, so start downloading or whatevs.

Oh boy, are you ready for another aural smack in the face? I don't even care (am I crazy?) because here comes this week's Satisfaction Perhaps! Ever wondered what hilarity two people performing duelling fax impressions could lead to? Find out in this week's How Ya Doin'. Then in Jew Review learn what Fantastic Four 2 has in common with a turd in a sock! We have the return of Canadumb starring of all people... a Canadian! Then things really heat up (or er... cool down) as Jason and Charlie Tease face the Ice Queen and the Vase is within their grasp in Jason and the mother fucking Vase of Freedom. Finally we have a Time Travel Interview with possibly the wilyest (sp?) gangster in history Al Capone. Find out what he keeps in his vault, whether he knows how to use a tommy gun, and just how he gets away with selling alcohol during prohibition. All this and much much more in Satisfaction Perhaps. Download, bitch.

In this week's Satisfaction Perhaps... we ponder the age old question - if a homeless guy has a car in which he says he wants to fuck you, is he really homeless? We have some more disturbingly pro-Isaac listener feedback, we have a very special Inside the mind of Charlie Tease episode of Jason ATVOF, we have a Time Travel Interview with Leonardo Majestic DaVinci, and some Irish Jigs peppered through the whole show to keep things interesting. So what are you waiting for, hit play and prepare to be satisfied (perhaps).

Satisfaction Perhaps returns with two guests joining us this week - Alan Ronald Leightizer and Erin Female Rodgers. We've got a Jew Review of the Da Vinci Code, and sadly not the Ninja Turtles movie. We've got Jason and the Vase of Freedom, with goblins, a giant spider, and an Apocalypse Now-esque turn for Charlie Tease. We've got a Time Travel Interview with Moses and his 15 or so commandments. And we've got an Irish jig about good old jealousy. Now all in glorious low fi bitrates to appeal to our target demo, guys living in Indonesia without broadband access!

Live from a plain white room with nothing but 2 chairs facing each other comes Satisfaction Perhaps! Yes, this week Isaac and Peter have no option but to stare at each other for an hour, and let me tell you, the comedy flows. In Jew Review Isaac reviews some shitty club he went to and a date where he didn't get any action, in Canadumb we discuss Canada's lack of beaches and plan an invasion of Halifax, in Jason ATVOF our heroes come across the Lady of the Lake who promises them Excalibur if they can answer her riddles three, and in Time Travel Interview we hang out with Kurt Cobain. But don't let me tell you about it, listen to it for yourself you lazy bastard.

In this week's show we've got all your favourite (?) segments... we catch up with how everyone's doing, then in Jew Review Isaac reviews Predator because he reviewed the only movie he saw this week last week before he had seen it. In Time Travel Interview we meet the Prime Minister of Australia in the year 2050, and you might be a little surprised to find out who it is (or maybe not). This week Jason takes on two creatures as he treks through the forest of Endora... Andera... some shitty forest. Whatever, it's the internet's favourite 1940's style radio play Jason and the Vase of Freedom . And finally we wrap it all up with a tasty little Irish jig.

As well as Isaac and Peter, on the show this week are Alan Leightizer, Ken Hall and Phil Dubrovsky. The wankers.

Yes, we know you've missed us and so this week we've decided to actually record the show. Novel idea, eh? In today's episode Isaac and Peter are joined by Alan, Ken and Phil, on the morning after a debaucherous night out. After regretfully going over the memories of the previous night, we discuss the new Tarantino movie The Grindhouse in Jew Review. We get all philosophical about the meaning of improv, comedy and acting in Canadumb. In Time Travel Interview we get a visit from Gandhi, who has made a few changes to his life since he was last in the spotlight. In the second installment of our radio serial Jason and the Vase of Freedom, Jason and his pet falcon Mercury get a new travelling companion with a somewhat unusual name, and finally we round out the show with a bit of an Irish jig. Lovely.

In this week's episode... News of the Commonwealth takes us to the Bahamas and Egypt as we consider what shaky foundations the concept of just reporting news from the Commonwealth is on. In Jew Review Isaac takes a look at Rocky Balboa ONLY so he can do his pathetic Stallone impersonation. In Canadumb we look at stupid Canadian words and nicknames for various shops here. Time Travel Interview sees the team come face to face with the king of the gods: Zeus! And we introduce a new weekly radio serial - Jason And The Vase of Freedom. I know, it sounds like quality, doesn't it? All this and much much more in this week's dose of Satisfaction Perhaps!
